Latest Announcement – We have now been offered a campsite on the headland itself with toilets and hot water on site!
Tickets will be available after Easter and we will accept tents and camper vans. Places will be limited so if you would like to register an interest, please contact us via headfolkhart@outlook.com and we will alert you the day that the tickets are posted.
A Coastal Celebration of Music, Culture & Community
We welcome everyone to visit the Headland and enjoy all the bands and entertainment on offer during the three day event.
Set against the historic backdrop of Hartlepool’s Headland, the Headland Folk Fest will run from October 2nd to 4th, 2026, promising three days of vibrant performances, creative workshops, and family-friendly fun.
Gaelforce and Greenman Rising lead the lineup joined by acts like Plum Hall, Keith Donelly, and Serious Sam Barrett. Rising stars and local legends including Lewis Pugh, Golden Plough, Al Devon (Jar Family), and Kyle Cullen add fresh voices to the mix.
Enjoy performances by Graham Pirt, Ailsa MacKenzie, Chorus Crew, and more. Discover the sounds of Wychwood, Winter Wilson, and Generation 4.
Morris dancing, literary events, and interactive workshops for all skill levels, Children’s entertainment and a bustling craft fair make it perfect for families.
A special 1940s Day at Heugh, featuring the Tees Bay Swing Band, adds vintage flair to the weekend.
